Butterflies and Moths

I have created this blog to share the observations and photographs of butterflies and moths (specially in Sri Lanka). Most of the photographs are taken purely for the identification purpose. Early stages of some butterflies are included. Majority of the photographs are taken within Western province of Sri Lanka. Host plants, locations and observations are described with photographs.

Hope this will encourage the people who are new to the field.

Save the habitats of these flying wonders and protect them for the future.
